The Izumi x Mash SF Track Chain-Jet Black/Gold is one of the limited edition, collaboration series chains from Izumi and the riders from Mash SF. They have attractive design touches that clearly set them apart from the rest of the excellent Izumi range. This one is for when the blackness of your heart can be relieved by just a hint of gold- with durable gold coloured rollers providing a highlight to an otherwise deep black chain.
Izumi are keeping their cards close to their chests as to whether these have any extra special sauce relative to their standard chains in ways other than designer colourway and the Mash SF endorsement. But it is noteworthy that these are the cheapest chains in the Izumi lineup where the package states "Track Racing Chain"-not "For Easy Running" or "For Single Speed".
One thing is absolutely certain- this is a chain that will never let you down. When you surf San Francisco's hills the way the pioneering lunatics from Mash SF do, you need a chain you can absolutely trust. Right from the start ,they used Izumi.
